Background
New Brunswick native Sandy Leim has been living in Halifax since 1978, and is one of the original members of the Viewpoint Gallery Co-operative. He entered a darkroom for the first time when he was still afraid of the dark, but nowadays makes archival-quality colour prints from transparencies chiefly by electronic means. He has been using cameras for over fifty years to document natural and man-made structures and landscapes
