Greg McDonald
Greg is a writer/director and photographer in Los Angeles. He views photography as an extension of filmmaking. It's just another avenue for storytelling. And he find telling stories is the best way for him to communicate and connect to the world. His aim is create stories through character, composition, environment and color. All elements he tries to incorporate to shape a story in an image.
His photography has been featured in Art Magazine, Novum Artis Magazine and Color Awards 2024 hardcover book by Dodo Magazine. He’s photographed ads appearing in fashion magazines LA Confidential and Zink.
Recent exhibitions include shows at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, The Lab on Santa Fe Denver, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Covet Art Gallery Oceanside, MVA Gallery Pennsylvania, Praxis Photo Art Center Minneapolis and others.
Greg’s filmmaking style is visual, comedic, character based and satirical. His films have screened in film festivals worldwide. Awards include Audience Choice Awards, Best Comedy Film, Cult Award from TLA Releasing and nominees for Best Creative Direction and Best Narration and have been broadcast on Channel 4 in the U.K and have been featured on Fangoria and Entertainment Tonight’s website.
