Philosophy
I look for inspiration everywhere. There are endless designs, textures and details in nature, that offer me countless photographic opportunities, every step I take.
Style
I prefer, but don’t limit myself to, macro and details in nature.
Technique
I use a Canon 5D Mk iv, usually with a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro or a 24-70mm f4 L lens, and also a Canon 70-200 f2.8 L and Tamron 150-600 f5.0-6.3.
Background
I worked in a studio for a year after high school and then studied at the New York Institute of Photography in Manhattan, graduating in 1975. After managing a photo store in Saint John NB for a year, I worked as a commercial photographer at CHSJ TV for 18 years. I then worked at Blacks Photography for 9 years, and as manager for 8.
