Artist Bio
Photography has been part of my life since childhood, when my father first placed a Kodak Brownie camera in my hands and taught me the craft of developing black-and-white film in a home darkroom. From enlarging prints to mastering dodge-and-burn techniques, those early lessons continue to shape my work today, even as I create with a digital camera and Adobe Photoshop.
I am inspired by the limitless possibilities of the visual world, and I work with different genres and techniques. My images draw on subjects of all kinds, capturing moments that reveal beauty, tension, irony, and humor. Humanity’s evolving relationship with the environment is one of my prime interests, so you will find recurring themes of time, change, and cultural transformation woven throughout my images.
