Philosophy
Ellis is a fine arts photographer, she uses the landscape to
discover her personal artistic narrative.

Style
Ellis creates images that resonates with her, she then allows the images to speak to her and allow her narrative to surface and help her create art reflecting her personal story. Ellis is well travelled, photographing in Nova Scotia, Africa, Asia, Europe, the US and Mexico.

Technique
Ellis uses Nikon DSLR cameras and lenses, processes her images using Adobe Photoshop and prints with Epson printers and inks on archival papers.

Background

Ellis is primarily self taught but has attended both Maine Media and Santa Fe Workshops. She currently is a candidate in the Master of Arts program at Maine Media College, Rockport Maine.

Awards

Ellis received an International Julia Margaret Cameron award in 2014 allowing her to exhibit in Magala Spain.
