Artist's Statement:
‘Shout Out’ is a LGBTQ project designed to give voices to the community and provide greater awareness of the lives of people within it. LGBTQ individuals were invited to tell their stories through candid portraits and short pieces of text. Funded by the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage.

​Biography:

Phillip Joy is a PhD in Health Student studying nutrition in gay men through photographic research techniques. His photographic style is one of catching those tiny everyday moments in life. ‘Shout Out’ is his second show at ViewPoint Gallery.
